How often do you pray to assist the poor souls?

When you pray what are your intentions? You may pray for the well being of others,or you may pray to receive assistance in your own life. But how often do you come to the aid of the suffering souls in Purgatory? Did you know that your prayers, when offered to these souls, help in relieving their suffering? The poor souls in Purgatory rely on our prayers and we as caring people must come to their assitance.
